This makes for some interesting spins and more chances at creating a winning paylines.

Magic Glow feature adds wilds to the reels

On any spin a selection of symbols might appear with a multi-coloured rainbow glow around them.

We say that these symbols have the potential to create more wilds, cause there’s no guarantee they will.

Throughout our testing of this Gemtastic game for this review, we rarely triggered it even though many glowing and sparkling symbols appeared.

But that’s ok cause there’s still one main way to win in Red Tiger casino slot that can help create some huge wins.

Cascading Reel wins with Lava Multiplier

So the main feature in this casino game is the cascading reels.

Not sure what cascading reels are? Well, on any spin if you create a winning combination of symbols, these symbols will dissapear and more will drop down from above to replace the empty spaces.

It gives you an opportunity to get more wins without spending any more real money.

Fans of Gonzo’s Quest or Jungle Jim will understand.

Except in this Gemtastic slot, Red Tiger have decided to combine this feature with an increasing multiplier they call the Lava Multiplier.

On each consecutive cascade win the multiplier to the right of screen will increase by at least 1x. This can go all they way up to 15x your overall win on multiple consecutive cascade wins.

A feature that offers the chance for some huge winning combos.

The maximum we have managed to get was around 7x our wins leaving us with around 20x our bet. There’s obviously the chance for more with a top win of 10,000x your bet possible.

But think more like 2x to 3x multiplier with around 3 – 10x your bet wins on average.

Are the Gemtastic online slot riches worth spinning for?

Even though there are a combination of fun features in our experience they didn’t combine well enough to give us any ultimate heart pounding thrills.

The thrills come with the cascading reels and multipliers but when you look at the real wins you get from these they don’t do much to top up your casino balance.

Combine that with it’s high volatility and you’ll be having to budget and wait for any payouts of a decent size.

One redeeming factor for many will be that it has a low 0.10 minimum bet letting you experience what this game has to offer on a smallish budget.

Overall the Gemtastic mobile slot and online game is good but we’d prefer to play on other Red Tiger slots like Dragon’s Fire and Laser Fruit.
